I have previously owned a vw polo 1.9 tdi sport, i loved the car, it's fast, good 0-60 of just over 10 seconds, nice shape, lots of room for passangers, dials easy to read.

It's a great little car, this was the first ever tdi i have ever bought, and was a little worried about the noise it would make, but you can't hardly hear it.

It is noisy when started from cold but once up and running and whilst your in the car there is no noise heard at all.

I didn't have any problems with my polo,so nothing to test the dealer really, but when the yearly service was due the garage staff were friendly, quick and seemed like they would do anything to help.

I bought this car after my Saxo VTR which had some kick, but the polo tdi is equally great as the vtr, obviously the 0-60 is like 8 seconds on the vtr but everything else is the same,great handling.

As standard on the sport you get a 6 cd autochanger (now that is impressive as standard),also air con,electric windows,all the usual storage, even the passanger vanity mirror had a light when the visor is pulled down, VW have thought of everything when it comes to the Polo and it is nice and luxurious and not too expensive, also has an anti theft control inside, and as standard on the sport, some nice looking 5 spoke alloys.

VW reliable name, also provides engines for Skoda's, and even the record breaking Golf,apart from the top of the range golf i would chose the Polo above any Golf.
