Skyline Imports
We have set up and managed The GT-R Owner's Club(GTROC) in Japan
since 1996.
The GTROC has more than 1,000 members, ranging from PGC10 owners to
BNR34 owners.
This club cannot be matched for service or information due to its close
relationship, most of which we have established, with major manufacturers
including NISSAN and NISMO.
It was during the winter of 1998 when an idea came to me after meeting
several GT-R owners in the UK and discovering they had various problems
with their cars.
When I talked with one of the owners about helping them, I hit upon
the idea of coming to the UK to provide services for UK GT-R owners.
He told me that it was a good idea and would help me when the idea
became reality.
When I returned to Japan, I discussed this idea with several people.
ZELE INTERNATIONAL Co. Ltd., MINE'S Co. Ltd. and NISMO took a positive
attitude towards our plan.
We have been researching the market and situation and have referred
to several people, including the GT-R Register BBS.
We arrived at Heathlow airport on 12th August 2001.
After we arrived, we started to set up and register Prospec Motorsport
Ltd.
At first, we will provide vehicles, parts, and accessories to our customers,
and we will own our garage in nearly future.
Nissan
will continue building the Skyline GT-R in the 21st Century, providing
the ultimate driving pleasure to even more people worldwide. Nissan
Skyline Imports into the UK make it possible for everyone to own
and enjoy this car.
Finally, after 3 years of speculation and various pictures of what
the new Skyline might look like, the wait is over. Fortunately, rumors
stating the Skyline would be dropped in favor of the new Z-Car were
not confirmed, since on June 18th, 2001 the all-new V35 Nissan Skyline
Imports was released.
Had previous versions been evolutions of their respective predecessors,
the new V35 now presents a cut into the Skyline's design history as
radical as the last model change from the R31 to the R32. The V35 comes
in 4 versions: 300 GT, 250 GT, 250 GT Four and 250 Gte, the 250 GTe
being the least expensive Nissan Skyline Imports..
The GT-R's future can only be called undefined at this point in time.
For sure is there will be a new GT-R and for the first time in history,
it will be sold in international markets via Nissan Skyline Imports!
Unclear so far is, what its ingredients will look like. Since the RB-engine-series
was dropped for the standard models, the GT-R is likely to lose its
famous RB26DETT in favor of a V8 or a new V6 (maybe based on the new
Z-Car's engine). Considering the refine-ment of ATTESA and Super-HICAS
on the previous models, these systems are likely to be kept. A preview
of what the future GT-R might look like, is the exciting GT-R Concept
of this year's Tokyo Motor Show.
